The 8 passenger Scottish Highlander has the magical atmosphere of a Scottish country house, with the added attraction of being aboard a beautiful barge. The subtle use of tartan furnishings and landscape paintings creates an authentic and restful atmosphere, and refitted in winter 2005/6, at 117 feet she is spacious, comfortable and has every cruising comfort for year round sailing. The menu served on board is traditional Scottish fare: beautiful meals usually including salmon, game, venison and seafood (though these can be easily be avoided if they are not to your taste) prepared by your own Master Chef. The experienced crew of four assure attention to your every need whilst this magnificent cruise along the Great Glen showcases some of Scotland’s most magnificent scenery. The many treasures of Scotland await you as you cruise through various lochs (deep lakes) and the famous Caledonian Canal. Very different in feel from our French cruises, this is a real ‘must do’!
