An extremely spacious, restful and luxurious hotel-barge, the Savoir Faire dates back to 1932 when she was built as a transport barge for the Belgian estuaries. Since then she has undergone a total metamorphosis into the superbly elegant three-decked canal cruiser that she is today. Carrying just 12 passengers and built on the largest hull that can cruise the waterways, the Savoir Faire offers guests the warmest of welcomes and regularly receives rave reviews for her quality of service. In the respected Andrew Harper's Hideaway Report, the barge was rated "Best European Canal Barge - The luxurious ultra-spacious Savoir Faire plying the inland waterways of Holland and France." The barge features six twin-bedded staterooms, all with private bath, which includes separate toilet and shower. The large saloon and bar area has wonderfully panoramic views, very comfortable custom-made furniture, upright piano, game table, stereo and compact disc player and library. Adjacent to the lounge is an extremely elegant dining room which can become a dance floor on festive evenings.
In 2012 she will offer her beautifully classic French cruise in Burgundy, plus her popular springtime Dutch Tulip Cruises (Amsterdam out and back), and two week cruises from Bruges to Paris or all the way from Paris to Amsterdam.
